A LIFELONG football supporter’s heroics in saving a young boy from drowning are being recognised — with plush tickets to watch his beloved Swansea City.

Mark Hopkins jumped into the Prince of Wales Dock in Swansea’s SA1 to rescue a youngster, believed to be aged 4 or 5, after he fell into the water on Saturday.

Now the 50-year-old from Port Tennant, who has been hailed as a hero, is being given top hospitality treatment at Swansea City after club officials read about his act of bravery.

Mr Hopkins and his family will be treated to a three-course meal and premium tickets at the club’s Liberty Stadium.
