IOWA CITY, Iowa — A mother serving life in prison for murder must be allowed to see her children, who were in the rural Iowa home during the execution-style killing of their neighbor, a judge decided in a ruling that outraged the prosecutor in the case.
Murdering Mother Gets Visitation Rights
Tracey Richter shot and killed her neighbor in an elaborate hoax to frame her husband. She shot her neighbor feet away from her children who were in another room. Now a judge has ordered her ex-husband to take their kids to visit her 3 times a year. Her husband has moved to a California city to rebuild their lives and is in disbelief that Tracey should be able to see their children after all the harm she put them in.
