A Florida man is still recovering from the shock he got last week, when police officers blasted him with a Taser while he tried to save his home from a raging fire.
Police told David Jensen to get away from the house because “that’s what insurance is for”. But he wasn’t sure if his daughter was still in the house. Plus, there were no firefighters around yet.
So he ignored the police order, and tried to save his home and maybe his daughter’s life. So they blasted him with a taser. Now the police are defending their actions.
Police are required to warn a person if they are about to shock them with a taser. Jensen says they issued no such warning. Police out of control?
